Outlook Apartments
The Project
This project was managed by Clearwater Construction and consists of a five level main building (43 apartments with four penthouse suites on the top level), with two x two level townhouse apartments to the rear of the building sitting on a split level basement carpark.
Build time was 21 months from demolition, all the way to code of compliance sign off, and was built under budget for a very satisfied client. Like most projects this one had an intense programme duration and a boundary to boundary build, but collectively every team member who worked on this project contributed to the successful end delivery, which was to a very high standard.
"Nothing was ever an issue and nothing was ever too difficult. I can't even recall if there was a time that my subcontractors had down time waiting for scaffold to be built for them. Our PM had his list of work to do in a specific order and he managed his team well to achieve the targets. They worked like a well oiled machine - awesome team!”

Affordable Group
This building was meticulously architecturally designed with louvres coming out from every face on the exterior façade at different angles, depths and heights. The main entrance areas of the building have a curved louvre design that goes from road level to level four and strapped itself right along that elevation.
Speaking on behalf of Clearwater Construction, Marcel Drollet said; "When it came to getting the scaffold built, in order to accommodate all these louvres the Affordable Scaffolding team were right in there giving their input and advice which just makes things go so much more smoothly. It just makes for good productivity and contributes to a good working atmosphere because everyone just knows what they need to do and achieve. It was really good to see.
Affordable Scaffolding's team onsite was lead by Randy, who in my opinion is one of the best scaffolders I've worked with. Nothing was ever an issue and nothing was ever too difficult. I can't even recall if there was a time that my subcontractors had down time waiting for scaffold to be built for them. He had his list of work to do in a specific order and he managed his team well to achieve the targets. They worked like a well oiled machine - awesome team!"
