At Affordable Group all Health and Safety matters are a priority and working as a team to achieve positive results in a safe working environment is paramount to all managers and staff. We strongly believe no person should be harmed as a result of our activities

We take our safety very seriously with proactive and preventative processes to protect employees, subcontractors, clients and visitors. All of our site staff are Site Safe trained, use excellent quality safety equipment and follow NZ and Australia industry standards. Site inductions are held to establish ground rules for conduct, safety and awareness of site hazards.

Affordable Group invests significant resources into maintaining our incident and injury-free working environment. Management, supervisors and contractors are continually working together to reinforce the health and safety performance.  Our experienced project teams regularly conduct independent site visits to assess quality and identify potential risks and solutions.

Affordable Group actively pursue new and improved safety systems to incorporate into our operating practices and manuals. We are proud to be involved in the ACC Workplace Safety Management Programme working directly with SiteSafe Ltd to enhance our Health and Safety systems.
