Fairway Gardens

The Project

Fairway Gardens in Auckland's Botany Downs is a project by Metlifecare, one of New Zealand’s largest and most experienced providers in retirement living. Born of a collaboration between leading New Zealand planners, architects and landscape designers, Fairway Gardens has been designed to delight the eye and provide the best in modern urban living.

NZ Strong are the construction partners for this large project.

The Fairway Gardens project started in late 2020 and it is expected to finish its last stage late 2023.

"The relationship and communication onsite between NZ Strong (NZS) and AFS is excellent. The AFS work areas are clear and well segregated and their house keeping is outstanding.

It is a joy to work with such a positive and professional team.”

Harry Henderson, NZ Strong

Affordable Group

Affordable Group (AG) has had almost a daily presence here since early 2021. Harry Henderson of NZ Strong said of the partnership between AG and NZ Strong, "In the early period of the project AG was setting all the propping, our site office area (shrink wrapped tents) and then moved on to setting the scaffolding around the first of many buildings.

As the project progresses we often require alterations for loading materials and trades wanting specific access to areas of the buildings eg. Waterproofers, elevator installers etc.

The AG team onsite quickly accommodates these requests while still completing their normal scheduled works. The relationship and communication onsite between NZ Strong (NZS) and AG is excellent."

The AG work areas are clear and well segregated and their house keeping is outstanding. It is a joy to work with such a positive and professional team.
